No, at Shipping to Hawaii, we only perform services related to vehicular transportation. For this reason, we do not provide services for moving personal items or moving pets.

Personal belongings such as suitcases or boxes are not allowed in the car. However, child seats and spare wheels as well as tools for replacing the latter will be considered part of the car. Therefore, both of these elements can be included in goods shipped to Hawaii without paying additional fees.

If we find any material from the vehicle, we will ask you to remove it before boarding the vehicle so that you can continue to ship to Hawaii. 

For land vehicle transportation from your house or receiving point to the port, all insurance is included in the quote.

Regarding the service of shipping cars to Hawaii, the mainland, Alaska and Guam by sea, we can choose to provide you with additional costs for marine insurance. Therefore, you will send the insured vehicle to Hawaii when transferring by boat.

Beginning October 15, 2020, the State of Hawaii introduces new options for out-of-state travelers that help keep the community safe.

In this sense, we follow the State of Hawaii procedures for external travelers, seeking to improve our customers' and employees' security during the pandemic. Therefore, all users arriving in Hawaii (all islands) from another state and collecting their vehicles must:
A. The State of Hawaii Mandatory Safe Traveler Program form must be completed before any departure. Such an application is available at safetravelshawaii.com.
B. Provide the certificate corresponding to a negative COVID-19 NAAT test. This must come from a CLIA certified laboratory within 72 hours of arrival or a quarantine exemption letter from the State Department of Defense.
C. Present the Hawaii Mandatory Safe Traveler Program email, including the QR code when picking up the vehicle. This QR code verifies participation in said traveler program.  

Vehicles will only be handled for assembly and disassembly purposes in the corresponding transport and at the time of collection and delivery. Always according to circumstances and according to local regulations or restrictions.

Most transfers are made for ground transportation in an open truck, with a capacity for 8-10 cars—the same type used to bring vehicles to dealerships.

In maritime transport, cars are transported RoRo (Roll on - Roll off); that is, they roll up and down the ship and are stored in a special part. They are insured to avoid any damage during sea transit. 

Your vehicle must be in good condition to be driven; this includes the ability to move forward, reverse, brake and turn. Otherwise, it will be considered "inoperable" and cannot be transported to Hawaii in such a condition.


1.  Ensure your vehicle does not have any leaks or drips; also, the battery must be well secured, and the fluid levels must be low to allow the expansion produced during the trip.
2.  It is recommended that the car is clean to facilitate a better inspection..
3.  Certify only have ¼ fuel.
4.  You will have to deactivate or disconnect any alarm or burglar equipment.
5.  You must remove all personal items, including keys, garage controls, extraction radios, CDS, CD / DVD Players, among others. Spare items, such as the tire or jack, can be left behind when you are shipping your vehicle to Hawaii.
6.  Remember to secure or remove any loose parts, especially the floor lights and fog lights, spoilers, bike racks, and very wide mirrors. Also, lower the antenna, if possible.  

If you own a convertible, you will need to repair or seal any openings in the tent, which will prevent air from entering and further damage.

In RVs that already come with added objects, such as kitchen, bed, table, chairs, and others, they will be considered part of the vehicle. However, it will not be allowed to carry personal objects inside it, such as books, clothes, food, surfboards, etc.

The vehicle must go through an inspection upon arrival at the port of destination, after which it is "released." So, generally, you will have five calendar days, counting holidays and weekends.
